Projects CDBG Grant Administration

Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA) provided grant administration services to the City of Homestead for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement funds. These services encompassed a range of critical areas:

Program Oversight: CGA assisted City Staff with financial procedures, including the receipt of funds and disbursement of payments, and aided in financial reporting.

Compliance and Review: The team conducted environmental reviews, maintained records, and ensured compliance with national objectives and federal regulations. This included adherence to Davis-Bacon Labor Standards, Fair Housing, EEO compliance, and Section 3 reporting.

Project Monitoring: CGA was responsible for monitoring public service and public facility projects. This included preparing and overseeing spreadsheets of budget and expenditures, ensuring diligent budget and expense monitoring.

Administration and Assistance: The team monitored and administered all program activities to meet required expenditure and timeliness standards. Additionally, CGA provided assistance in solicitations for necessary services.
